"There was this particular Audino that was given to me from the higher ups. They said that this "special" Audino was dying from an unusual ailment, and that they wanted to see if I could "fix" her. Well, not the normal kind of fix. I knew what they meant, they just don't want to be blunt (which I guess is a corporate way of doing things), and not that I have a choice, seeing as they maintain my operation, so I simply agreed to the task. With her inside one of my specially-made capsules, I ran her through my machine, and very quickly, I was intrigued by what I saw. Healthy Pokemon have their energy wells neatly packed in a certain area of their body (usually the around the heart, but certain Pokemon may have it in their cranium), but this unfortunate Audino... Has it just spilling all over the place, even leaving her body. That would explain the symptoms, like her inability to cast her powers properly, or without breaking a sweat.
I went with a simple approach: compare her genetic imprint to that of a healthy Audino, and of sorts, I was able to stabilize her energy well where it should be. But that's when my work began, and I proceeded to apply the human blueprint to her chemistry, and once that process was complete, I looked for genetic switches that I could activate to bolster this subject's capabilities. To my surprise, I was able to activate quite a number of these switches, to a point where her energy well's output increased enough to sustain a semi-mega state. Not a complete mega state, but she certainly has most of her mega form's power. I still don't know how to enable the mega form without the presence of the mega stones, as otherwise, the Pokemon's well will destabilize and potentially kill the subject. Not that I tried it, I just simulated it through some programs. Which is enough to tell me that it's probably not a good idea.
