Pokemon casual here. I go through phases of being into it and then don't play it or even think about it for years.

I'm just wondering, is there an ORAS part in the anime series or is that not the case because they're just remakes? if so does that mean pic related will never be in the anime?

If I watched the Ruby/Sapphire part of the anime, will it have any bearing on the events in ORAS?
