I know Europe has the worst immigrant screening around, because the EU is just the "lets all pat each other on the back and get paid at the expense of our working classes" club. The US has horrific gun control, though.
And, yeah, there should be way tighter immigration in every country, especially the US, but the "lets fight ISIS" bit is scary and antagonising them is a bad idea, actually going after them is literally giving them what they want.
Japan does immigration hilariously strictly and we could all learn a thing or two from them.
