The problem with Beat Up is that it uses the attack stat of whoever is "attacking". In the picture it shows "Ralts attacks", you can guess how well a low base power move on a Pokemon with next to no attack would go over.

This. Your entire party is a gong up on the foe. It should be doing more than a couple light hits.

Make Beat Up a low PP move, but give it a huge buff like Knock Off.

Mediate should also rise sp def
Acid should become budloze but with defence
ALL normal multi hit moves should have 90% hit rate and at least 20 power
Earthquake should have 90 power and 10% to lower speed on hit pokemon.
Flamethrower should have 40% burn
Clamp should become a 5 turn move that DO NOT trap opponent on field.

Also, Beat Up isn't very common, there are just like 2 Pokemon that can learn it by leveling up, and 11 by breeding.
