I initially thought that you should catch a pokemon. power it up as much as you can, then evolve it and repeat the process because the evolved form can power-up even further.
But I also heard that you want to find the lowest CP pokemon you can and evolve them asap, then start powering them up after evoling all the way.
And then I heard you want high CP pokemon that you can evolve and power-up even more.
I am legitimately confused as to the process used here. It seems vastly different from the handheld games.
