Every grass starter besides bulbasaur, treecko, turtwig, and rowlet suck.

Fire doesn't really have bad starters, besides tepig of course.

Water starters are usually the best, except for oshawott.

First time playing any gen besides Gen 1, and I picked Chikorita. It's also the first time I've ever started with grass.
