They're not gonna shoot a chandelier and have it land on him. Tazers and mace aren't even remotely guaranteed to work. If there's an armed criminal threatening the lives of cops and other citizens, I would want them to open the firing squad up.

I never said a thing. But a cop has more credibility in these situation than a repeat criminal known to be violent and footage that goes with the cops' story.
