Hey everyone, I'll be going into new york city at the end of the month and was wondering if there are any hot spots I should hit
(i'll be mostly centered around times square)

You won't have to go anywhere. During the day, there are literally hundreds of lured Pokestops all across Manhattan. Just go to whatever you would have gone anyway, and you'll find a lured Pokestop there.

Oh I know an awesome hotspot! It's in any Home Depot, its under the category "Rope", buy some, tie it around your neck, and hang yourself, it really works. Try it!

No. The city is filled with Doduo, Voltorb, and Magnemite (along with the usual Pidgey, Rats, etc). Unless those are rare where you live, the only good thing about NYC is the infinite pokestops.

The fact that the Pokestops are literally always lured (in Manhattan, during the day, anyway) is pretty great.
