So what was the logic behind developing mega pokemon rather than just having more pokemon?
As much as trash can pokemon and ice cream and whatever doesn't fit, I really don't think the whole Dragon Ball Z-esque going EVEN FURTHER BEYOND fits pokemon whatsoever. It just feels so incredibly awkward and forced to give pokemon super evolutions that are temporary and just make them look like overdesigned versions of themselves.
