Because with realistic models for humans it doesnt make sense to make unrealistic models for Pokemon in the overworld.

At least now that the convention of using a piece of the Japanese map and only themeing certain areas in-game has been dropped for the possibility of theming an entire region, maybe we can look forward to a Scandinavian/sub-Arctic tundra inspired region; with nice port towns, rural village settings, mountainous areas that aren't just ledge puzzles, fjords, fells, fogs and frost all in that super cozy, classic, cartoonish Pokemon style.

Comfy hearthfires, a good rock and steel eeveelution, more than three ice-cream cone inspired ice-type shitmon, and a pokedex that's comprised of creatures that fit the lore and environment and aren't just object-gimmicks with eyeballs and pin names.
THAT would be the god damn. Fuck it will never happen

Hands down the best feature in gen 7
99.9% of competitive players gen/inject/whatever for pentaperfects and if you aren't "in" the VGC community you're stuck breeding hundreds of eggs, which ends up being a barrier to further participation. I fail to see how this is casualization when this move is clearly for the competitive community

No at all. Sure there were some exciting moments. But Gen 6's pre release season dumped way more info than it should have, giving the illusion of overloaded hype among the community. They've been thinning the fuck out of SM's new info and this is the most excited I've been to play a Pokemon game

Bullshit, nobody, literally NOBODY complained back then about too much info (that happened sometime after the release). Besides you can bet we'll get too much info this time around aswell. We're almost 5 months away form the release and we already have almost 30 pokemon revealed and few features
