>>27277284>>27277380As I explained in the previous thread, due to how starting a new game works you may want to consider playing anyways.
Immediately as you start a new game, you're asked if you want to inherit data from your pre-expansion save, and if you say yes (first option) you will get all of your old puppets back after you defeat the final boss of the postgame, in boxes 21-51 (you don't have access to these boxes before then).
After this happens, you can also start a New Game+ by selecting the New Game option again. This will take the data from your Shard of Dreams save file rather than the base game, and will allow you to have access to the following puppets at the beginning of the game, reset to level 5:
>All 6 puppets in your current party>Your old starter>Your new starter, if you select one (this slot is wiped by your old starter if you don't select a new one)Up to a maximum of 8 puppets at the beginning of the game. Your items and money are not carried over, and any puppets stored anywhere other than your party or boxes 21-51 are wiped, so make sure you move everyone you want to keep before you start a new game.
In other words, if you don't mind doing two separate playthroughs you can start the expansion now and get a feel for all of the new styles, then start a NG+ after the full translation comes out and play through the game again with a premade party, without losing your progress.
