>>27268799Well, ice is just an unfortunate type in that regard because it wouldn't make sense if you could find ice pokémon just anywhere. For example, fire-type pokémon don't need to be exclusively in hot climates and grass-type pokémon don't need to be in grassy areas, so GF can find a logical way to put them wherever they want across the region. But most ice-types are completely dependent on cold environments.
We need more pokémon with ice as their secondary type, like Lapras, Cloyster or Sneasel. That way they'd be more likely to appear in random areas instead of being restricted to the designated "cold area" of each region (Seafoam Islands, Ice Path, Shoal Cave, North of Sinnoh, Frost Cavern, and that mountain in Alola).
