Poison type is fine. Poison type pokemon just need better stats.

Tentacruel and wheezing used to be a viable walls until megas out paced them. Mega venusaur is ok. Mega beedrill is actually pretty good.

Here's hoping for a mega Arbok.

I've always thought making water weak to poison made sense. Made sense since gen 2 when they tweaked things.

However, I think ground should keep the resistance. It's already weak to two super common types.

Instead of different levels of poisoning, I feel like poison being immune to poison type damage might make more sense.

These are all OU viable pokemon. Almost the entirety of the rest of poison mons are just prior evolutions of these, or powerhouses on lower tiers. The poison type mons are actually incredibly good. Their only real threat other than ground, psychic, is basically dead because of knock off. They cannot be poisoned. Unique recovery item that hurts other mons when stolen. I really dont see what the problem.

Arbok desperately needs a boost of some sort. It's a crime that a Pokemon with such a diverse movepool is held back by such a subpar stat spread. It doesn't have a single stat above 90. The power creep is real.

The TYPE doesn't need a fix all that badly but perhaps it would enjoy some buffs
