>>27277154The beauty of the Greater Dire Spiked King Ogre is that it can learn almost every kind of spell. It's deceptively fast for it's size, too, and has some resistance against hand-to-hand fighters. I recommend starting out with Dorf's Attack, to be replaced by Greater Crack of Gaia later on, and Barrier Smash as an opening punch - it hits surprisingly well, and the spell parchment sells for quite cheaply at the Castle Market in the City of Rainbows. If a normal fist is more your taste, you can save the slot for Boulder Roll, it's great for accessibility on the map and it's just as good a move in battle. Other options include Rain of Rocks, Greater Breaths of Flame/Ice, and the ever-popular Big Wave. It's not outrageously strong, but it's close; you may sometimes wonder if there's anything it can't learn. Depending on region, it may even learn the Beetle-Lord's Great Crescendo, a good move against spellcasters if you can strike first.
Some people like to teach it Greater Bolt of Lightning or Supreme Lightning Bolt (anecdotal, I have a friend who did so to great effect), but it depends on your other summon cards, really. Usually others have another more-suited creature covering those already.
Others teach it Greater Wad of Phlegm or even Dire Agonizing Touch, but, in my humble opinion, venom magic doesn't have enough advantages in direct battle (especially if you just want to use it against the Four Silver Kings of the North) unless you plan more on fighting another like yourself, and it hasn't the defenses to wait out the opponent to liquefy.
