DA RULES:
#1: Wait for scanners: we are not faster than light. Code will take some time to get Pokemons, then we have to screenshot the map and post it on 4chan. Please be patient. If you bump your request, scannerfriends reserve the right to ignore it.
#2: Post coordinates in this way:

yy.yyyyyy
Coordinates like "15W, 199N" do not help us.
#3: If there are more than two scanners, those scanners should begin posting with a name, in order to split the work.
#4: Consequentially, if there are more than two scanners, users shall post BOTH coordinates and the requested scanner.

Now get the path to the PokemonGo folder that the requirements.txt file was in.
In the terminal, type cd FILEPATH
Replace FILEPATH with the path again.
Now type this line:

Replace USERNAME and PASSWORD with the credentials of a Pokemon Trainer Club (PTC) DUMMY ACCOUNT. I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT USE YOUR REAL ACCOUNT, YOU WILL PROBABLY EVENTUALLY GET BANNED. The Pastebin has a link to create a PTC account. Use it.
Also, replace those decimal numbers with the coordinates you want to scan. It won't work right now, you'll get a lot of messages about retrying_api_req: request error. But if you see those, you're probably good, and just need to wait until the servers come back up to try it again.

Figured out how to install the PokemonGo-Map master on a cheap OpenVZ server. (I'm running Debian 7)
Opened SSH on my iPhone's Serverauditor app

Server came with Python 2.7.3 (which caused the Flask error kek), I checked by typing

What I did was

Wasn't really sure what I did next but I'm pretty sure it was

Then I could view my server's Pokemon Go generated map on the domain name or IP on the port which I chose (which was 1025). The site disappeared the instant I disconnected the SSH connection but presumably I could attempt to screen the process to make it last a little longer. Seemed to display fine on my phone in the time I had it open.

From what I can make of the new development branch of the PoGo map it drops support for (gyms? and pokestops?) and has to be run from
runserver.py instead of
example.py but it's supposed to fix the half an hour bug and it no longer has credentials.json by default. It also uses a new search algorithm which has to be modified to make it find as many pokemon as the master branch.

to all those having issues with mons not showing. scan these coords and see if anything shows up. im still getting mons here, and its still updating. im guessing the areas we are scanning are just blank somehow. maybe the server crash caused some spawn points to "go down" or something? also try scanning on higher numbers, at least -st7 or 8, just to see if that does anything
