Audino had potential, and is still not the worst thing ever. It has solid defenses and a great typing in normal (only one weakness is good, I don't care if it has no resistances), it has access to good suport moves like wish, aromatherapy, and heal pulse, as well as offensive possibilities in calm mind, dazzling gleam and moves of that nature; hell, its normal form even has regenerator, allowing it to function more efficiently as a cleric.
However, the normal form's defenses and health aren't enough to safely pass wishes like chansey could, and the worst thing to happen to audino is its mega's ability: healer, rendering it completely worthless in anything but doubles, and even then its a niche with not much to it. If the mega had somehow kept the regenerator ability, it would've been much, much better.
TL;DR: Audino is wasted potential, but a neat design
