Could be worse. My first shiny was a Duskull in Sapphire, but I had never heard about shiny pokemons before so I captured it and after a while I released him because I thought he might have been a glitch and was afraid he would fuck up my game.

Use a gen 3 save editor, then copy/paste the information you see there in Pkhex. I don't know if you need to bother with the trash bytes at the end of the OT/Pokemon nickname, and you should set the location to whatever it uses for mons sent up through gen 5, but other than those its all straight forward.

The ROM is a perfect copy of the game's code, you found it during normal gameplay with the same probability as the actual game, only an autist would claim it's not "legit".

Transfer the save to your computer and use an emulator to emulate a 4th gen game so you can migrate it.
After that, I used a flash card and sent it over to a 5th gen game.
There's probably a faster way but that's what I did a long time ago.
