Unless they combine attacks but we're talking solo that's set in stone for each level so
Champ < Ult
Ult < Mega and so on
Are you starting to see the problem? It makes stories predictable so the end is one of these two things
They band together and attack
or
Someone digivolves to the next level and wins
In all honesty that's why Xros and other things like V-Tamer were good, they didn't go by absolutes like that and even a champion could take down say a Mega with ease.
