I don't dislike it but I really love red pandas and wish that the red panda Pokemon we got was a bit more...something. Small? Cute? A ruddier red, a little more mischeivous, less blobby?

If it wasn't a red panda I would probably love it, actually.

I really like the idea of it (cute, snuggly looking bear that's massive and super strong and everyone's afraid of it because of its deadly hugs) but i don't think i can ever get over this design... i will say its in-game model is a bit better than the artwork tho

This guy is literally the funniest Pokemon out there, and that's a good thing.
I chuckle everytime I gaze at just its head.

Everything in the design is 100% intentional and part of a running gag.

Looks like he loves you, will actually brutally maul you to death like a real bear.

I love this fucker unironically.

I love it. I think it's the black body and pose that make it seem boring or weird. Maybe they should have added a pink heart on the chest to improve the design? Regardless, totally putting him on my team.
