I would've prefered to keep the very special story-book style gen V was going for, but gen VI's sprites do alow for interesting tidbits the other gens didn't allow, like samurott picking up his sword, and typhlosion's flames only burning up when it attacks. Gen VI did almost nothing right, sprites were one of the few thing that were done right.
but man, did they fuck up the flying-type sprites
