I'm surprisingly enjoying it a lot more as an adult. Maybe it's because I no longer give a shit what other people think. A lot of my growing up was spent being a self-conscious loner because I got teased for still liking Pokemon past the age of 12 and so I decided it wasn't worth making any friends.
Nowadays, though, I have friends and a job, am living on my own so I no longer have my grandparents breathing down my neck going "dem Pokemans are the devil reeeee", I can buy things with my own money, and I'm overall less autistic than I was growing up. Life's good for me, Pokemon is still a part of it and probably will be for a while to come.
