The games used to have bretty good iconic songs but now they are mostly recycled and forgettable as fuck

Gens 1-4 had great music. Gen 6 had some good themes.
It's just gen 5 and 7 so far that have been failing.

But Anon, Zekrom and Reshiram's themes aren't the same.
Zekrom's has lightning sound effects halfway through and Reshiram's has fire sound effects halfway through.
The bulk of it is the same, though.

Because the anime is nothing but an advertisement for the things that actually sell, like toys, cards, games etc.
