Apparently, the sequel was too similar to the original. Also, a lot of people wanted to be able to use their favorite Pokemon.

Not making a third game. It really is a shame, I loved playing through these games, and XD really improved on Colosseum by a lot. The only thing I'd fix is the availability of Pokemon. They just didn't give you enough Pokemon to catch, as well as good Pokemon.

Very low replayability cause bad selection of mons and available moves at least in the first one.
For XD i can say that its nearly impossible to find. I missed it one day in the shop around the time it got launched and never saw it again.

I was able to beat Colosseum in it
It ran at like an average of 90% but that mostly has to do with my shitty laptop

I can't emulate XD at playable speed but i read it runs fine on a decent computer

You can already get that Psycho Boost Lugia. Get your Gameboy, Gamecube/Wii, and buy a link cable for the two so you can trade between one of the Gen. III games (not including Emerald for some reason). Then transfer it to Gen. IV, then Gen. V, then use the Poke Transporter to put it in your Bank so it's ready for you in Sun/Moon.

Going anywhere in Colosseum took too long for me to be engaged very long, same with how long it took to turn a shadow pokemon good. Immediately sold it to a friend for the same price I paid at Gamestop a few weeks after I got it.

if your wii is hacked you can just download the ISO and transfer it to a legit gen III cart, that and a gba shouldn't run you too much money, and so long as you have a gen IV and gen V game you can transfer it all the way up

it's kinda a hassle though
