It's the lowest point of the franchise but still worth playing. All Pokémon games are great, but even then something has to end up worst, and B/W takes that cake pretty easily.

It's just baffles me that people think this games are bad.
They introduced 156 pokemon,an interesing story,good characters,a good region maybe it's linear but it looks good,and it's sequels aren even better.

Nostalgiafags may can't enjoy this game,because they can't enjoy new things,but if you can enjoy new things,BW are awesome games.

BW2 are probably the best games in the franchise with some leeway given for personal tastes. BW less so, but it's still a great pair of games that managed to capture a little bit of that sense of adventure that made everyone fond of the older games. Unova's a fantastic region with an entirely fresh Pokedex with some great additions to the roster, and BW2 includes not just all of them but also a great distribution of older mons that leaves you with a staggering array of choice.

Every gen has shit designs and gen 5 is no exception.
Every gen also has good designs like Zebstrika line, Scolipede line, Krookodile line, Darmanitan line, Cinccino line, Escavalier/Accelgor lines, Galvantula line, Haxorus line, Golurk line, Hydreigon line, and my personal favorite Volcarona line.
Actually gen 5's bug types were probably the best in the entire series.

I recently got back into playing the games since pkmn go just made me want the real version. My last game was Ruby.

I just caught a fucking trash bag Pokémon. Its a literal bag of trash that "follows people around looking for litter" according to the pokedex.

I'm seriously considering not going any further. Does it get worse /vp/?

Oh boy prepare for the grind on the 4th gym exactly.
They'll zap through all your pokemon and you'll have to grind your whole team at least 5+ levels above the gym leader and evolve the sand alligator first too before you have a fighting chance.
Don't know why this was an issue in this gen alone.
