>>27327248I'm not sure what to think about some of the people who play Pokemon Go. It's very difficult to tell who knows a lot about the game just by looking at them.
For example, I was walking around a massive pokestop yesterday by the water (a couple hundred people were crowded there) and I'm sure to most people I look like some douchebag. I am (incoming shameless bragging) attractive, tanned, and /fit/ -- so I doubt anyone would think that I actually know more than nearly everyone about this damn game.
While at the same time, I saw a woman who was pretty much in full "Pokemon catcher" gear. She even had the Pokemon themed fingerless gloves. I also saw a group of aspies wearing pokemon themed shirts that kinda made me cringe. One was a shirt that made some sort of pun regarding the word "balls" (pokeballs to testicles)... yikes
All I'm saying is, you have no idea who the people who actually know Pokemon are just by looking at them. If anything, the people that dress/act the most normal may have the most chance at knowing some of the most.
