Back on BW, the HA of each Pokémon was the ability that Pokémon wished to have, and Sturdy is the opposite of Defeatist in terms of description.

When will you idiots realize that Archeops was DESIGNED with its ability in mind? It's like Slaking. Do you think it would be a good idea to give Slaking a hidden ability? No, because it was designed to have it and it would be overpowered as hell if it had anything else.

It already is a monster.
I run one on my Rock Team. A bulky Archeops set with Brave Bird, 'quake, taunt and roost, max EVs in HP and Speed (4 defense), Jolly nature.

Because it out speeds nearly everything, it one-shots most enemies, or it puts them deep in the yellow, survives whatever they return fire with (because it's on a Triples team, most attacks either end up in the cradily (storm drain) or the rhydon (lightning rod)

I usually just give it Anticipation. Pretty balanced with its stat spread and moveset. It's pretty fast, so you can U-turn out of there if Anticipation tells you your opponent has a super-effective move.

100 base speed just doesn't cut it anymore and, coupled with the ridiculous priority and fighting-type moves thrown around everywhere it just won't do much.

Not to mention Landorus intimidating everything. It's just not as good as it should be.
