Something similar in my town. There's a tree that got planted on the day our king was crowned. It's called the King's Tree, and it's got a plaque and everything.

You'd figure that would be a neat pokestop, right? Wrong. The actual pokestop isten feet behind it, attributed to a solid steel bench that is supposedly a piece of art.

During Ingress, they had a time where you could suggest locations to them to create portals.

I had the chance to, because I played Ingress, and I never did. I should have, because I have a literal FUCKTON of interesting locations and stops around my town that aren't gyms or pokestops.
