If there was a mon in Yokai Watch named Bulbosaur, based on a light bulb, you would post multiple threads a day calling it a ripoff and saying Nintendo should sue.
Look, I'm not saying it's bad to reference another franchise, I'm not. It's just very unlikely to be accidental in this particular case.
