Is Latios mega evo even mandatory? I haven't played X/Y but I can't remember if it was on ORAS.

I think my first Mega was Mawile if it wasn't...

It's not, but it's the first one you're capable of doing.

I don't know if you can "refuse" to Mega Evolve Lucario vs. Korrina, but it's definitely the first one you're able to.
