Wah." but because the standard "white" characters are over-represented in relation to their target audience.
Everyone of every race should be able to look at popular games/shows/comics that feature a multitude of characters and go "Hey, characters that look like me are here, too. That's cool."
Then, you can proceed to pick/choose favorites of whoever the fuck you want, skin tone preference or not. Honestly, labeling by race and culture is still separation and labeling, so I think game developers and comic/cartoon artists should focus on making INDIVIDUALS who are from different backgrounds, but are still their own.
Don't care if this whole thread is bait or not, that's my perspective on this topic.
