Anyway, it's pointless to pick one or the other before version differences/exclusives are known. Before the specifics for the box legendaries were revealed you could have said you were choosing it for your favorite of the two, but now that we know they're both trash with typings that don't make sense, it's a flimsy justification.

Unless mimikyu is in only one specific version and then in that case FUCKING BUYING THAT VERSION FASTER THAN THE FIST OF THE NORTH STAR.

I will be mad if qtfly and mimikyu are in different versions. Only two pokemon I want to definitely use right now. Wimpod is distant third.

But third version only saves you the trouble of having to trade to get mons and usually have more content, better story and fixes stuff from the previous version.
