She is easily the cutest female protagonist. I'm not sure if even Chicken-chan is as cute outside of fanart.
Her design also projects this cheerful, bubbly energy in a way that makes me feel like I know her character almost as much as Dawn or Serena, despite never seeing her in a show (trailer doesn't count).
Her hair is fun, the leggings are sexy, and her shirt is both cozy and plain. Her overall color palette is not overwhelming, yet still distinguishing.
Her visor barely counts as a hat, to the point that when I look at fanart of her, I sometimes forget that she wore it at all. Personally, I like this, but whatever.
Her shorts are a bit awkward, I understand their purpose for modesty, but they would have been better as a more simple skirt.
The flaps on her shoes don't trigger me, because I get why they are there. They exist to prevent splashback from puddles and mud from getting higher, as well as keeping sand from going into her shoes. They don't completely stop the problems, but they look effective enough that I can mentally write hem off as a pragmatic decision.
I need to re-address the hair. It is right on the border of being outrageous, and being reasonable. The hair makes the character come together, it really does.
