>>27363820I've actually done some musing on what a JoJo/Pokemon fangame would be like. After reading through an LP article about a tragedy known as Pokemon Reborn (good lord it's awful), I did some thinking.
Essentially the game would be a completely custom Pokemon game where you and all the other characters in the game are JoJo characters, but all the Pokemon are the same. You traverse the Morioh region on a Pokemon adventure, with the guidance of Professor William Anthonio Zeppeli, and occasionally run into his grandson Caesar as your rival. You do have an option to choose your gender, and if you are a male trainer, you resemble Koichi, while the female trainer resembles Yukako. Whichever one you don't pick will be your secondary rival.
I'd imagine it'd be fitting if the eight gym leaders were the eight JoJo protagonists, and each city they were in was based on their respective part. For example, one of the early towns you visit would be Windknights Lot, where you encounter Jonathan Joestar, the town's gym leader, and his wife Erina. He wouldn't be the first gym, though, with how seasoned a fighter he is, I'd imagine it'd be like Viridian City; early city but late gym. I like to think the first gym's location would be Canaravel Town, in which you find out the leader has been imprisoned by the nefarious Team Heaven, who seems to have connections with Jonathan's missing brother, which he would mentioned before, and the earliest Team Heaven quest would be freeing Canaravel's Gym Leader, Jolyne, from Team Heaven's prison.
I'd go more into detail, but we'd be here all day, so I'll just keep it short and sweet. I feel like legendaries would be obtained through post-game sidequests, which some other characters are involved in, such as Meloetta and Jotaro's missing father. That, and the towns/leaders would be as follows. (order not final besides Jolyne, Giorno, and Jonathan's positions)
