>>27366082A bunch of people who set up a rule system seperate from VGC. Basically, pokemon are proken up into "tiers" which basically just says you can't use pokemon above a certain tier in a match. Your shitmons are in PU, your near shitmons are in NU, ect.
On top of that, they ban a number of "randomizing" factors, mostly evasion, but also a few things like Swagger, and Baton Passing more than a certain number of stat buffs, depending on tier.
They get hate for allegedly favoring stall, for banning a few pokemon out of OU, the main tier, for sorting your bro into NU/PU, and for not sucking Nintendo's dick quite hard enough. They also get a bad rap for the occasional fedora-tipper who disconnects the second the word "Double Team" appears on-screen.
