Why on Earth would they do that? Even as a hypothetical, this doesn't really hold up. Pokémon have a very distinct style. Even outlandish shit like Dialga and Palkia still look like Pokémon. Why make them just boring fucking monsters?

Monhun monsters may look scarier but most monsters cant even do shit to some midevos worth thier salt and only shit like Amatsu, Alatreon, Jhon Mohran, etc hit an okay tier in strength compared to mid tier final evos.
