HA and you all were saying it was unlikely for the NX to be an Hybrid. This is a pretty good move by Nintendo but at the same time i don't like the idea of buying a more expensive console than the 3ds just to play pokemon

My personal opinions is that the handheld consoles should actually regress a little bit. You should be able to turn it on and play for 2 minutes and then be able to turn it back off again in a couple seconds. The 3ds takes about a minute to boot up and enter a game, and pressing the power button and selecting "power off" takes way too long. It should be able to immediately start and stop the game like the old game boy systems. I love the newer games, but it's just annoying to have to trade fancy graphics for an annoying interface.

Also, only being able to register one 3ds system on your Nintendo Network id or whatever it is is ridiculous. My 2ds broke recently and I'm using a hand-me-down that never really got used, but now I can't play the two games that I downloaded and have no way of accessing them again. I'd rather make the handhelds completely unable to download something than have this hassle.

If it's true, it feels like a obvious result of Nintendo's line of thought, they have been focusing on portable games for quite some time now, over their own mainline consoles. So to finally mash the two aspects together into one means they don't have to put any extra efforts into developing for two separate systems, and at the same time can focus on optimizing a singular console (if they actually bother to optimize it and make put effort into it) if they learned from their old mistakes and actually advertise the fucking thing, it could turn out well.

Being the ultimate handheld fag myself, having acquired a Wii U only made me realize just how much I love portability and the chance to bring my games with me. I still enjoy my Wii U and its games, but the fact that you feel restricted to your own living room/bedroom/what not, it does feel a bit old-fashioned having to be in the one place the console is settled in so it's only natural that some times, you might be playing on your 3DS a bit more than the Wii U (unless you don't have that many games to play with in it).

It may not be much now (at least, it's comparable to a Xbox power wise according to info?) but it could potentially become something that marks quite a big change in the video game industry if it has just enough power. It could become something that you can bring anywhere and just easily install on ANY living room if you want to take advantage of big screens and playing with people locally.

Take it with a grain of salt though obviously, but whether it happens or not, eh.

Cartridges are nice if they happen to have more than enough storage and they are more resistant than your usual CD and are easier to store and use, but this will of course come at a high cost for Nintendo if they intend to shake up the industry with some powerhouse cartridges that have only god knows how many GB of storage.

Honestly, they've made so much fucking money off from Pokemon Go alone, they might as well be saying their head quarters is running on power provided by all the people who play it, kek. Shit's pretty bare bones at the time, but they'll eventually update it with all pokemon and hopefully, a battle function, that'd be sweet.

Is it original 3DS? That might explain it. The new 3DS loads much faster, I presume, because I still have my original 3DS.

kek at smash 3DS being so heavy, it needs to shift things in the OS in order to play the game

Oh and, if you hold down the power button long enough, the console will turn off much faster.

And one minute is way too long, man, how many digital games you have in that SD card of yours?
