Can someone please explain to me how nintendo has not made a fully 3d home console pokemon game yet?
ESPECIALLY when the wii u has been such a massive failure
imagine exploring a pitch dark cave in 3rd person mode and being ambushed by a zubat out of the darkness with no battle cut or warning. you battle right on the spot in a fully 3d environment with detailed animations on everything
imagine it with dark souls style multiplayer where enemy trainers can enter your world and challenge you right there while exploring
theres so much shit you can think of that would be amazing
this shit would print money, make the current nintendo console an absolute must have. instead of essentially the same fucking game for the last 15 years.
pokemon has to be one of the most underutilized IPs in gaming in terms of what can be done with it. look at pokemon go, something slightly different and it became an overnight phenomenon. nintendo could revitalize their entire console division with it, it seems so obvious but they still havent done it
