That it doesn't matter what Pokémon you use in game (i.e Dunsparce) you can beat it anyways. For online competition, it does matter. You aren't gonna be the best using a fucking Stantler.

She and Grimsley are both right. Battle how you like, but don't cry if life gives you a bad hand, or bemoan how you started from a lower position than those that use stronger Pokemon. If you want to be the best AND use your favorites, get creative.

Seriously, though, for how hard the games toss "love your pokeymen" and "Use yer favorets", it does a terrible job of balancing them against each other.
