They are OP as fuck and no one knows why.

They "not very effective" attacks still deal major damage to types stronger against water. Without dodging and just tapping, a 2000 Jolteon will always lose to a 1400 Vaporeon

This game has so many problems that vapes are at the bottom of the list. Lots of water types in general are way stronger than the rest in Go

Strangely, my only halfway-decent water Pokemon is a 360CP Slowpoke I caught weeks ago. I've got nothing else above 250CP with a primary water attack.

Come to think of it, my grass, electric, and fire situations aren't much better.
