Welcome back to "/vp/ makes a Fakemon dex!" Here we as a board attempt to make a dex. Not a game, just a collection of 150~ Fakemon. Or at least attempt to until the thread goes to shit.

Let's continue!

When we left off, we decided the region would be Scandinavian/Sub-Artic themed, or at least influenced.

Now let's determine the starters! Current ideas:

>Water/Ice to reflect Niflheim
>Fire/Ghost to reflect Muspellsheim
>Grass/Ground to reflect the firmament created by the two coming together.

>Water starter is a cat that becomes a literal sea lion
>Fire starter is a rabbit

Other ideas have included
>Grass/Electric lightning rod giraffe
>Ghost/Steel or Fairy/Steel matryoshka doll/iron maiden combo
>Chick -> Cockerel -> Hen Harrier regional bird (Normal/Flying -> Fighting/Flying)
>Willow warbler/carrion crow rival to regional bird (Dark/Flying?)
>Ice/Flying Goose
>Normal/Dark Tanuki
>Fire/Poison vampire bat that drains heat from victims
>Ice/Water Yeti Crab
>Water/Steel Sword fish
Among others.

Let's try to get the starters and early route mons done. We need to finalize the water starter and regional bird, and create the grass starter, fire starter, regional rodent and early game bug line. I'll be here working on what we have and also sketching whatever you throw at me for a few hours before I go to bed.
