Why does this thing exist again? This thing is literally the Typhlosion of electric pokemon.

The thing exists because Game Freak had no idea what evolution for Mareep to have,so they took the main colors of Pikachu,replaced the red cheeks with orbs,gave the thing a white belly,and added stripes around it's neck, the end of his tail and the top of his ears.

But I like him anyways.

Not to mention people only like it because it was one of the early options in Johto that wasn't a generic Kanto shitmon. It really is just electric Typhlosion, and the overrated shitmon of electric types.

"30" was not an early level in Gen II.

I know electro ball isn't the best with its speed stat, but a. thunder wave on level-up and b. 60 minimum isn't terrible for in-game, especially when you get an 80BP move at 40 for mid-game.

Even Mareep has better "hands" than Ampharos. Ampharos was a mistake.
