I await the days when we can have a serious discussion about B/W and X/Y after the memes die and people realize that they're both good games.
My personal favorites of the XY OST were:
Route 1
Santalune City
Bicycle Theme
Dendemille Town
Calem's Theme
Xerneas/Yveltal Battle

I can't fucking stand the Lumiose City theme though.

X/Y had some good music but most of it was just extremely generic. I remember thinking when I first heard the trainer battle theme what a mess I thought it sounded like.

If I were to make a strictly top 10/20 list, then X/Y would make some appearances, but it doesn't raise the whole soundtrack up.

I will admit Snowbelle, e4/champ, flare grunt/admin, and the legend themes are good.

What are you, 15? Never heard cheesy 90s trance and techno?

Route and city themes are great, e.g. Coumarine and Geosenge in X/Y, but almost all battle music of every gen just irks me. I just hate the fake energetic tuneless vibe, it's like it's designed to get annoying after it's looped about 3 times. Maybe I'm just getting old.

It had several great town themes though, and I quite like the Team Flare/Lysandre and Rival themes.
