Police departments are in talks with Niantic to use Pokemon GO (tm) "trainers" as their virtual mob.
"There is a great deal of civil unrest here due to the racial tensions," said one Anglo-American police officer anonymously.
"There are only so many officers," he continued, "but there are hundreds of thousands of players. If there is a hot spot for a riot, we can send them all to the area and there will not be rioting."
When asked how they will go about doing this, he added, "it has something to do with a cat."
