It may not be a werewolf per se, but it could very easily become a regular wolf. Howling at the moon is colloquially a wolf thing, afterall.

Are you being serious? Because if you are, when was the last time you saw a dog howling at the moon? Even then, dogs that do "howl at the moon", aren't really howling at the moon, or at anything subsequently placed in the air. The angle they tilt their head in straightens their vocal tunnel to let sound pass easier and create a louder resonance. It's just for communication with other canines.

yeah that wasn't quite the word I was looking for but you know what I meant. You say "howls at the moon" and people are going to say "wolf". It's pretty deeply ingrained. Seems natural that Rockruff would go a wolf route for its evo.

Not saying its a fact, but a likely possibility. They could do something dramatically different and surprise me. I'd probably love that, actually.
