I remember enjoying these when they came out, but im not sure if im brave enough to play them now. ( I have Pearl, Diamond and Platinum waiting for replays)

Sinnoh had shit Pokemon distribution. That's why Flint only has 2 fire types in his team, 1 of them being the starter.

D/P made you backtrack to Hearthome for no good reason, the realized that was stupid so they just made Fantina the 3rd gym leader.

D/P are the worst Pokemon games in the series since the suffer from the lack of polish all early gen games have, but are also actually bad games on top of that. Platinum is a bit better, but Sinnoh as a region still suffers from a constant need to use HMs as well as bad Pokemon distribution regardless of which game you're playing, that's why everyone has a Staraptor and Luxray and 1 to 2 HM slaves on their team.

Just play HG/SS or BW2.

its only moves are the elemental fangs, which have to be bred onto it so it's not even close to being good in game. you have to rely on spark and crunch so you might as well give it strength and cut as filler anyway

OP here, thanks for the info. Ive been playing BW1 and 2 alot and recently played Soulsilver to point were you get lugia but stopped there and send all SS pokemons to my Black 2. I havent played loong time DPPt so i think ill pick Platinum when i finish yellow and omega ruby second playtrought.

I actually didn't mind that one, same as Gardenia having a turtwig or the odd random trainer having one of the starter evolutions. Made the player feel like a little less of a special snowflake.
