have you played stadium, it does pretty much confirm the draconic breeding egg group and relations, clair's gym is filled with starters, ampharos and steelix, all pokemon that happen to learn dragon attacks or have dragon related lore
furthermore lance also has a selection of the all known team members and other pokemon sucgh as lapras and even kangashan i believe, both learn outrage and in the following gens learn things such dragon dance, dragon pulse, like some classic first 3 gens starters
in gen 4 battle facilities the high ranked dragon tamers also confirm the pattern by using dragon type dragons and draconic pokemon or those that learn dragon moves such as again steelix, kangaskhan, aerodactyl, aggron, gyarados and even meganium
iris also used draconic pokemon in her bw2 champion team, see aggron and lapras
