It wouldn't be great, but would actually be usable and unique, compared to utter repetitive garbage.
They should also give it Ancient power as well, as the situational boosts on all your stats would come in handy.

What we need is an actially decent rock type special attack. If in Dun/Moon we get one with 80-90 base power I'll be happy, but I know that won't happen because why would rock get nice things.

Give its Mega switched SpAtk and Attack, a Speed Boost and a rock type Chlorphyll and then run amuck with Power Gem, Earth Power and Solar Beam under Sun
