As bad as HMs were, it was about adventuring with your team and using your pokemon to overcome obstacles
Now you end up hiring the services of a company for that in the middle of your adventure

Idk man, they can only be used one time, once per battle. Not nearly as potent as a mega evolution.

At most it just seems like a free ko, and plus they need to forego a held item. I just see them as super beefy versions of the Element Gems.

It's probably just like Soaring except with multiple Pokemon, and hopefully they won't hand you a Charizard just for the purpose of flying. This also means that you aren't blocked off from different areas if you decided not to use a certain Pokemon.

It pretty much had to be that way.

Otherwise to make use of the feature you'd need certain pokemon in your team to make use of them, almost certainly for travel/accessing hidden areas/etc, meaning you'd be taking HM slaves anyway effectively.

The exp you get is proportionate to the level of your mon vs the enemy. Knock out a high level mon with a low level, gets lots of exp, do the reverse get little.

If they do it I hope Audino is coming back...

so in XY if you fought a level 4 Fletchling at level 6 you'd get the same amount of experience as you would if you fought that same level 4 Fletching at level 80. But in BW youd get less and less exp the the more over leveled you were. A level 3 Patrat would give more to a level 7 than it would a level 10.

I remember you could level a pokemon from 1 to 80ish in bw if you sent out a level 1 pokemon against a 100 blissy or something, then swapped to another pokemon and explouded/destiny bonded.
