At least I can still see it as a possible male or female. And what's exactly feminine about this, the fur around the hip? The implied hips? This isn't actually far off from fennec foxes' anatomy. The name I'd still argue to be feminine, if it's concerning the word pun "vixen", because that is a name for female fox.
I just can't say the same for the presumed Popplio evolution. No matter how many loops I make in my head, I just end up looking at it an accidentally think of it as a "she" rather than trying to think of it as a "he".
