>>27491941They didn't ''stomp'' anything out code wise..
The Legal team was already working on C&D permissions with the Country that the creator of Pokevision had his servers based out of.
They worked close with International Policies and Law System to get a permit for the release of the C&D then moved through the red-tape while the Coders at home jerked themselves off in congratulations of a 'launch' that went awiry due to faulty coding that soon became apparent.
The coding has absolutely nothing to do with that department which shut down Pokevision and other websites. Legal Retainment did that all on its own. Completely.
That's why Pokevision and others stay quiet, because once you're hit with a C&D you can't talk about anything due to the Silence clause after being told you can go public, not sign this, but then take the downfall for accessing data off copywritten property under the harshest penalty of your Countries Law; criminal charges, and face a multi million dollar law suit.
Or shut everything down and quietly fade into obscurity.
That is how the Law works with Internatonal Trade & Business; since I'm guessing none of you have Graduated Law School or took classes in any basic Business practices.
I'm pretty sure none of you are making anything close to my or their paychecks weekly..
Anyway.
That's the short-end of it. I could go into long, boring details that none of you could find on a wiki or a quick research but...
I won't waste my or your time.
Just know they got cucked legally. And Coders/Coding department had 0% liability or responsibility for it. Other than placing in coding that counter-acts the site's resources after being given the entire program and asked to break it down to find a way to make sure their system won't work again.
That's it.
